สภาพการอยู่อาศัยและแนวทางการปรับปรุงที่อยู่อาศัยของผู้สูงอายุ: กรณีศึกษา ตำบลบ่อสุพรรณ อำเภอสองพี่น้อง จังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี

Abstract

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสภาพสังคม เศรษฐกิจ สภาพ และปัญหาการอยู่อาศัยของผู้สูงอายุ และสามารถเสนอแนวทางการปรับปรุงที่อยู่อาศัยของผู้สูงอายุ โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้สูงอายุที่อาศัยอยู่ในตำบลบ่อสุพรรณ อำเภอสองพี่น้อง จังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี จำนวน 280 คน โดยการสุ่มแบบเชิงกลุ่ม บริเวณเก็บรวบรวบข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสัมภาษณ์ และแบบสังเกต ผลการวิจัยพบว่าปัญหาการอยู่อาศัยที่เกิดอุบัติเหตุมากที่สุด จำนวน 3 ลำดับ คือ ห้องน้ำ ห้องนอน และห้องนั่งเล่น โดยเสนอแนวทางการปรับปรุงที่อยู่อาศัยของผู้สูงอายุ ดังนี้ ห้องน้ำ มีพื้นมีว่างภายในห้องน้ำเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลางไม่น้อยกว่า 150 เซนติเมตร ประตูแบบบานเปิดออกสู่ภายนอก สามารถเปิดค้างได้ไม่น้อยกว่า 90 องศา หรือเป็นแบบบานเลื่อน พื้นภายในต้องมีระดับเสมอกับพื้นภายนอก วัสดุปูพื้นต้องไม่ลื่น มีความลาดเอียงเพื่อให้น้ำสามารถระบายได้ง่าย โถส้วมชนิดนั่งราบมีความสูงจากพื้นไม่น้อยกว่า 45 เซนติเมตร แต่ไม่เกิน 50 เซนติเมตร มีพนักพิงหลัง ที่ปล่อยน้ำเป็นชนิดคันโยก หรือปุ่มกดขนาดใหญ่ มีด้านข้างด้านหนึ่งของโถส้วมอยู่ชิดพนังโดยมีระยะห่างวัดจากกึ่งกลางโถส้วมถึงผนังไม่น้อยกว่า 45 เซนติเมตร แต่ไม่เกิน 50 เซนติเมตร มีราวจับที่ผนังเป็นแบบแนวนอนและแนวดิ่ง โดยราวจับในแนวนอนมีความสูงจากพื้น 65 - 70 เซนติเมตร และให้ยื่นล้ำออกมาจากด้านหน้าโถส้วมอีกไม่น้อยกว่า 25 เซนติเมตร แต่ไม่เกิน 30 เซนติเมตร ราวจับในแนวดิ่งต่อจากปลายของราวจับในแนวนอนด้านหน้าโถส้วมมีความยาววัดจากปลายของราวจับในแนวนอนขึ้นไปอย ่างน้อย 60 เซนติเมตร และต้องมีราวจับเพื่อนำไปสู่สุขภัณฑ์อื่น ๆ ภายในห้องน้ำ มีความสูงจากพื้น 80 - 90 เซนติเมตร อ่างล้างมือด้านใต้ที่ติดกับผนังไปจนถึงขอบอ่างเป็นที่ว่าง เพื่อให้เก้าอี้ล้อสามารถสอดเข้าไปได้ โดยขอบอ่างอยู่ห่างจากผนังไม่น้อยกว่า 45 เซนติเมตร และต้องอยู่ในตำแหน่งที่สามารถเข้าประชิดได้โดยไม่มีสิ่งกีดขวาง มีความสูงจากพื้นถึงขอบบนของอ่างไม่น้อยกว่า 75 เซนติเมตร แต่ไม่เกิน 80 เซนติเมตร และมีราวจับในแนวนอนแบบพักเก็บได้ในแนวดิ่งทั้งสองข้างของอ่าง ก๊อกน้ำเป็นชนิดก้านโยกหรือก้านกดหรือก้านหมุนหรือระบบอัตโนมัติ ที่อาบน้ำแบบฝักบัว มีพื้นที่ว่างขนาดไม่น้อยกว่า 110 เซนติเมตร และมีความยาวไม่น้อยกว่า 120 เซนติเมตร มีที่นั่งสำหรับอาบน้ำที่มีความสูงจากพื้นไม่น้อยกว่า 45 เซนติเมตร แต่ไม่เกิน 50 เซนติเมตร มีราวจับในแนวนอนที่ด้านข้างของที่นั่ง มีความสูงจากพื้นไม่น้อยกว่า 65 เซนติเมตร แต่ไม่เกิน 70 เซนติเมตร และยาวไม่น้อยกว่า 65 เซนติเมตร แต่ไม่เกิน 70 เซนติเมตร และมีราวจับในแนวดิ่งต่อจากปลายของราวจับในแนวนอน และมีความยาวจากปลายของราวจับในแนวนอนขึ้นไปอย่างน้อย 60 เซนติเมตร สิ่งของ เครื่องใช้หรืออุปกรณ์ภายในที่อาบน้ำให้อยู่สูงจากพื้นไม่น้อยกว่า 30 เซนติเมตร แต่ไม่เกิน 120 เซนติเมตร ห้องนอน และห้องนั่งเล่น เตียงนอนหรือที่นอนมีความยาวไม่น้อยกว่า 180 เซนติเมตร มีความสูงจากพื้นถึงระดับข้อพับเข่าไม่น้อยกว่า 40 เซนติเมตร แต่ไม่เกิน 50 เซนติเมตร และมีที่ว่างรอบเตียงไม่น้อยกว่า 90 เซนติเมตร มีการติดตั้งระบบไฟฟ้าแสงสว่างเพียงพอ อุปกรณ์ปิดเปิดไฟฟ้าวควรอยู่ใกล้กับเตียงนอน มีระยะเอื้อมถึงสูงจากพื้นไม่เกิน 90 เซนติเมตร เก้าอี้สูงจากพื้นไม่น้อยกว่า 40 เซนติเมตร แต่ไม่เกิน 50 เซนติเมตร มีพนักพิง เครื่องใช้ควรเป็นชนิดไม่มีมุมแหลม และมีหน้าต่าง

This research is aimed to study the conditions of society, the economy and the living condition problems of elderly in order to suggest improvement of the housing. The sample consisted of 280 elderly living in Bo Suphan Sub-district, Song Phi Nong District, Suphan Buri. The research was conducted by cluster random sampling using interview and observation as the data collecting tools. The result found that 3 of the problems leading to the highest frequency of accidents were toilet, bedroom and living room. The suggestion of housing improvement guidelines for the elderly was as follow – Toilets should contain free space of not less than 150 cm in diameter, door openings to outside to be able to open not less than 90 degree or sliding door. Inside area should be in the same level with outside area, and the tiles must not be non-slip with slope allowing water drain easily. Toilet should not be less than 45 cm from the floor but not higher than 50 cm with backrest and flusher or big pressing button, one side of the toilet should be attached to the wall with the distance from the center of the toilet to wall not less than 45 cm but not more than 50 cm, the rail attached to the wall vertically and horizontally 65-70 cm from the floor and extending from the front of the toilet not less than 25 cm but not more than 30 cm. The vertical rail from the end of horizontal rail in front of the toilet should contain the length from its horizontal end 60 cm with the hand rails leading to other sanity wares in the toilet with 80-90 cm. Hand washing sink attached to the wall to sink edge was the empty space for the wheelchair to fit the wheels. The sink edge should not be less than 45 cm away from the wall in the reachable location without any obstacle higher from the floor not less than 75 cm but not more than 80 cm with vertical adjustable horizontal rail on both sides. The faucet should be lever or push rod or rotating rod or automatic system. The shower should contain space not less than 110 cm and length not less than 120 cm with showering seat at least 45 cm from the floor but not higher than 50 cm. The horizonal rail at the side of the seat was 65 cm from the floor but not higher than 70 cm and the length of not less than 65 cm but not more than 70 cm. The vertical rail from the end of horizontal rail and the length of its end was not less than 60 cm. Other objects or equipment in the shower should not be less than 30 cm from the floor but not more than 120 cm. Bedroom and living rooms the bed should not be less than 180 cm long with the height from the floor to the knee not less than 40 cm but not more than 50 cm with the space around the bed not less than 90 cm. The electrical system should be enough with the electrical switch close to the bed. The reaching distance should not be more than 90 cm from the floor. The chair should not be less than 40 cm from the floor but not more than 50 cm with backrest. Electrical equipment should not have sharp edge. The windows should be provided
