As Chinese higher education institutions have rapidly developed, the organizational performance of Chinese universities has been widely discussed in recent decades. Researchers from diverse academic backgrounds with distinct narrative perspectives try to establish the linkage in different ways. This paper uses a management perspective to examine the effects of employee incentives on the organizational performance of Chinese higher education institutions in the Southwest region of mainland China. This paper uses primary data collected via Smart PLS4 to test the expected results. It mainly focuses on three factors: delayed retirement, aging faculty and job promotion to determine if there is an impact of those three factors on organizational performance in higher academic institutions. In addition, it uses management policy and work satisfaction as mediators to enrich the test results.en_US
