Dormitory Management System: A Case Study of Malairad

Abstract

This project is the development of information systems which aims to develop a dormitory management system, a case study of Malairad dormitory, and evaluate user satisfaction. The system was developed by using database management program with java-based (JAVA). It was evaluated the performance by using questionnaires from 3 experts and 30 users. The system functions consist of renter information, room rental contract, co-tenant addition, employee information, printing out an invoice, repairing equipment, payment Information, room booking lists and printing reports According to the satisfaction analysis of the dormitory management system, a case study of Malairad dormitory, found that the experts and users were moderately satisfied. In conclusion this system can be used.
