dc.description.abstractIn vitro embryo culture of Seidenfadenia mitrata at the age of 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 months after pollination was conducted using Completely Randomized Design (CRD), 10 replications. They were cultured in 4 media viz. MS (MS + sucrose 30 g/l + charcoal 1 g/l), MMS (MS + peptone 2 g/l + potato juice 100 g/l + sucrose 30 g/l + charcoal 1 g/l), VW (VW + sucrose 20 g/l + charcoal 1g/l), and MVW (VW + peptone 2 g/l + potato juice 100 g/l + sucrose 20 g/l + charcoal 1 g/l). After cultured for 90 days, MMS was found to have the most effect on protocorm formation.en_US
